Ka rawe! Awesome news on the agent front! Wonderful to have an external person/wrangler/public engagement advocate. Sounds like many new adventures opening up.
Hope the ECE and school pick up goes warmly and well.
Thank you - yes, the year is coming to an end, but new doors are coming into vision. I took extra coats to kindy and school. One was definitely needed. I swear that child goes through at least 4 changes of clothes per day!
Shuffled the marathon following surgery and instructions from surgeon 'not to run' (haha). Weather was ideal, big numbers but accommodation and places to dine limited due to staffing issues and the big C. Have done them all including the inaugural. My friend and her coach were at the back of the field, her first marathon and could have been the last following that experience. The things we do for fun! Have the Hamner Alpine marathon next and then Honolulu. Safe and happy training/writing!
Fabulous - well done you! I hope your recovery goes well. Not much time til the Hamner though, right? I did that in 2016. Great until I hit the downhill. That's the most uncomfortable I have ever been in a marathon, and the longest time to recover. OUCH.
Thanks, Juliet - yes, I sounded them out and we had a meeting and things went from there. Let's see where we go, but it's an exciting adventure to be starting on! I hope all is going well for you today.
Congratulations Sarb. Just listened to your news and read your posts today. Sounds exciting having an agent and getting your speaking schedule sorted for 2023. Queenstown was the place to be this past weekend with marathon event. Nga manaaki and hope all goes well
Kia ora and thanks Charlotte - much appreciated. Were you there and running this weekend? I did the half-marathon at the inaugural Queenstown marathon event. The weather was atrocious - was so very cold with a lot of hail pelting on us too!
Loved hearing your voice, its a fun thing to add to our substacks xx
Congratulations on the new agent.
Thank you Tracy. It was fun to do! Might do them a bit more often :)

Well done Sarb. It is great to hear some cheerful news! Wow! An agent sounds most impressive and well deserved!
