I spent all day marketing today.
That’s a sentence that would have been completely foreign to me just a few years ago.
Unthinkable, even.
The work itself was making videos for my YouTube channel. Then taking those videos and chopping them up into smaller pieces to promote my store on Amazon.
It felt… strange.
There is a tedium to it, if I’m honest. A repetitiveness that feels a world away from the deep, focused work of being a psychologist.
And yet.
It has also been interesting. A puzzle of a different kind.
And just as the feeling of tediousness begins to settle, an email arrives.
It’s from a big brand. A brand I know and admire. They want to connect.
What a strange, unexpected journey this is.
This next chapter of life.
It’s a powerful reminder that our paths are rarely the straight lines we imagine them to be.
More often, they are revealed one surprising, sometimes tedious, often interesting, day at a time.
