Starting Fresh: The TechPacker's New Journey
I'm venturing into a new Substack. If you're into travel gear, tech tips, and behind-the-scenes stories, I’d love for you to join me. No pressure—just a fresh start and some good company.
Hey all,
I wanted to tell you I’m starting a new Substack, which may or may not be your thing. And because of this, I’m inviting you to come over if you’d like to, but I won;t be cross-posting here, and I certainly won’t be adding your email address to my new Substack. It’s totally in your control whether you want to come over.
So, what’s my new Substack?
It’s essentially an extension to my YouTube channel, The TechPacker, where I make videos about travel tech and gear. Besides curating travel gadgets and gear, I'll also help you with choosing and using tech like cameras, apps, and navigating with your devices while traveling.
I'll cover paying for stuff in tricky places like China and working remotely without compromising your online safety. I'll also share tips on navigating airports, using land transport when we can, public transport options and stories, plus behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and blogs - it's a lot of stuff.
No team, just me handling everything. Just yours truly.
It's been a huge shift for me, moving away from psychology and onto my next adventure. It would be great if you could come along for the ride.
Check out these videos for a taste: a magical solo hike in Japan, testing an unlimited eSim in New Zealand, and strategies for getting cheaper Apple products (I've used them for years).
A new Substack
Starting from scratch again is pretty scary. I really hope to see you there.
Thanks in advance for backing me up.
