Of course, now I have Covid
As soon as I said I had escaped, it found me, and some of my family too
Of course I have Covid. I think I got it from our youngest daughter, who probably got it at kindergarten. We’ve let contacts know.
I feel rubbish. First, I couldn’t stop sneezing. Now, this is periodic bouts of intense sneezing followed by exhaustion. I’m holed up in the bedroom, as my wife is testing negative, as is our oldest daughter. However, the youngest two tested positive but don’t seem too badly affected.
My oxygenation levels aren’t a worry right now. I have some odd muscular and shooting pains, and very watery and runny eyes. I think my sense of smell is off too.
But the weirdest thing was what I found when I looked at what my Apple Watch recorded about my sleep last night.
Usually, I get 2-3 hours of deep sleep per night. Last night, I didn’t get a single minute, let alone an hour. And my heart was elevated through the night too.
Another sneezing bout is kicking in. I’ll leave it there for now. Wish us luck!
Keep resting and looking after yourself as long as possible Sarb. I know a few people who have been diagnosed with long COVID..all are very active folk and seemed to not give themselves sufficient time to really heal. All the best..drink lots (of water!)
Tēnā koe Sarb, rest up slowly and go easy on yourself. Wishing you all better sleep and resting heart rates. I hope your neighbours/whānau are dropping around nice kai. Mauri ora!
