Another little thread for us to connect with each other as this week goes by and to continue to build our shared sense of community. It’s also a pinboard where we can share tips, interesting links - whatever is good that you’ve come across lately.
In my little world, we’ve had a bit of a testing time with health and a visit to after-hours on Sunday evening. Nothing life threatening, and we are ok - but a hassle and a worry nonetheless.
On the bright side, I got to spend some time playing hide and seek with our two youngest girls. Our two/ almost three-year-old daughter has started to figure out that just because she closes her eyes doesn't mean we can’t see her.
What about you? What did you get up to at the weekend?
Looking ahead over the next few days, here’s a little challenge for you: What is one thing you can enjoy about each person that you come into contact with each and every day of this week? This little exercise can really help us to appreciate the relationships we may sometimes take for granted.
Post your reflections and observations in the thread - I’ll look forward to reading and posting too :)
I had a lovely walk along the river in central Christchurch this morning. I’m here MC’ing and doing a keynote for the PPTA Leadership Summit here. Bright blue skies but cold here. It been great to talk with and connect to a whole group of people I wouldn’t usually meet. I hope your week is going well?
I'm supposed to be off to Christchurch this afternoon. One flight has already been cancelled, so I have one shot left this evening. Wish me luck!
I managed to finally finish season 1 of For All Mankind. Highly recommend. It’s a fascinating alternative history of the space race.
*me waiting patiently for you to watch S2 too so we can watch S3 together. It's a really good alternate social history in particular too.
