Kia ora koutou, loving this week's kōrero and mihi to your tamāhine (daughter) for her "yet" whakaaro (thought, intention, idea).

I haven't got a motorcycle license yet.

I bought a 125cc bike to learn on and chose to sell it due to a life event. In terms of resolving a need for speed, returning to running seems like the best option. I will enact some interval training between the fence posts. Running makes me happy and usually entertains the local horses, alpacas and cows.

Āku mihi, Charmaine

A delightful story to begin the week! How great that the teacher followed through so appropriately with exploration of the how, thus ensuring ongoing enjoyment of challenges and learning. Also great that the teacher connected with you to celebrate your daughter’s ‘yet’ statements.! I wish that more folk could retain this honest and open mindset as they age!

I was really appreciating that this teacher took the time to share this with us. It gave us a great insight into Miss5's attitude towards learning in a new environment. two weeks in, and she's loving it. Long may it last.

At 58, I am still wondering what I'll do when I grow up. Still lot's of 'lets' to consider and I am currently looking at the te reo journey as a European.

Wonderful consideration - I love the 'what I'll do when I grow up' thought. I often have the same.
